6.2.2 Off-Campus Use of University Equipment

 

In certain instances, faculty and staff are permitted to use university equipment at off-campus locations when it benefits the teaching, research, public service or administrative functions of the university.  Departments are required by this policy to designate a specific department representative(s), usually the business manager, to be responsible and accountable for tracking and maintaining records of university equipment located off-campus.  Capitalized equipment located off-campus is recorded in the Fixed Asset System with the off-campus location identified (building, room number, address, etc.).  Department must notify PMO when equipment is transferred off-campus by submitting the Asset Activity Transmittal form.
