3.3.16 Transfer
DESCRIPTION
Union contracts contain regulations for transfers within and between bargaining units. Transfers may also occur as a result of an application for a position posting.
DEFINITION(S)
| Transfer | A move of an individual from one college/division to another in the same classification or to a different classification in the same salary grade. |
POLICY
As vacancies occur, a transfer may be initiated by an employee through the job posting process (see APPM section 3.1, Position Posting) or by management as a result of reorganization.
